On the Unknown page we would like to present works of Heinz Trökes at irregular intervals that one generally would not associate with Heinz Trökes. We also present works here that were long considered lost or are still lost.
Thus, there are, for example, works with titles that are listed in Trökes’ journals, lists or notebooks, but which are otherwise unknown. In the case of some early works, it is not clear whether these may have been destroyed due to the war or during the Nazi period, while with others it is only known that these were sold to the USA after 1945, but have been considered lost since then.
Works of Trökes for which there are no secured images do not appear in the complete online catalogue raisonné.

o.T. (Textilentwurf - 127)
Um 1937 entstandener Textilentwurf. Nach Abschluss seiner Ausbildung bei Itten in Krefeld ging Trökes mit einem Empfehlungsschreiben von Johannes Itten nach Augsburg zur Firma Bemberg als Musterzeichner. So konnte er sich in der Zeit des Nationalsozialismus als Maler finanzieren.

Im Wind
a missing work from 1946 appeared and was identified because of the similar drawing on the right side. With help of Ph.D. Markus Krause the picture was authenticated as IM WIND. Till now no image of the painting was known.
